Day Fifty
10.80 km today. 116 km this fortnight. 597.70 km total.
Halfway, time to finish my virtual wandering around Edmonton and head back to Lethbridge. Weather turning colder, snow in the air mixed with cold rain. A time for retreating indoors, but there is still a long walk ahead.

Day Forty-nine
15.45 km
Morning paper didn't seem to have been delivered so started to walk down to the shop to buy one. Fortunately before I got there I received a phone call to alert me that the paper had been found in the centre of a bush in the middle of the front yard. Who would have guessed. Diverted my walk to the shoe store and bought shoes instead. Later I went down to site of last summers Great Horned Owl's nest and scrounged for evidence.

Day Forty-one
11.55 km
Toronto. Walked in Lethbridge in the morning and Toronto in the evening. In between I got a very good aerial view of Whoop-Up Drive in Lethbridge. A road that links South and West Lethbrige and which is a classic example of bad planning. A 1950's era car-based strategy that is the model for the city's transportation plan for the 21st century. A nightmare of bad planning.
